Our History
Haynes & Sons Well Drilling, LLC is a family owned and operated business. We have been in business for 38 plus years now. My father always said our business motto is.
“Do the best job for the best price and never have an unhappy customer”
Haynes & Sons Well Drilling was founded in 1979 by my father James C. Haynes Sr. and myself. At the time we both had other full time jobs and could only do the well drilling on the weekends.
As the business grew I was able to quit my job and concentrate on the drilling, as my father maintained his other full time employment.
My grandfather died when my father was only 17. At the time my grandfather owned several businesses that my father did not know the first thing about running. So when he died, my father struggled. Keeping that in mind, my father allowed me to, and insisted that I run the well drilling business from the beginning.
Soon with business continuing to grow, my father quit his other job and began full time here at Haynes & Sons, LLC. While business was growing, at the time it was my mother, Carolyn Haynes, that kept the company financially stable. She was a nurse and her income allowed us to put the money from the well drilling back into the business.
My brother Gene Haynes worked part time until 1990 when he joined us full time. The three of us worked side by side and continued to grow our company. In 1991 we bought our shop here at our current location and have been here ever since. We became an LLC in 2012.
In July of 2015 we lost our father. Today myself and Gene continue to grow our wonderful company and still hold true to our motto. Along with our employees, we show up every day and strive to keep our customers satisfied and happy.
